Untethered Soul @michael_a.singer has written a life changing book! It will be a book I read again and again! Each chapter made me pause and reflect and start to call in a practice of consciousness with more intention. Seriously the book is covered in pink highlighter. So many takeaways.... If you are looking for a book to help with any limiting beliefs you have or how to let go and move forward, then this book won't disappoint! Untethered Soul has to be one of my favorite books of 2020!! Let me know you've read Untethered Soul and what landed for you! #untetheredsoul #conciousness #limitingbeliefs #unlimited #michaelsinger

Unapologetically Selfish If my 30's have taught me anything it is to be unapologetically selfish. To ask myself what do I need? What do I want? How do I fill myself up to feel good before I start focusing on others. And not only to ask and think about it but to go after it!... What I have come to learn is to be selfish is to be selfless. And I'm here for it! I realized I can be selfish and still give to others! I can still ask for what I need or want and still serve others! I don't have to lose myself to fit into what others need. I don't have to sacrifice who I am or what I want. We are taught that putting ourselves first is wrong. That as a mother, a partner, a daughter, a friend, a colleague we are to put others before ourselves. It's the 'good girl' thing to do. But if we are always giving and never checking in with who we are, what we want and how we want to go after it, before we know it we are lost wondering what our purpose is and why we are here. And that our only value is to give to others. We have to put our own oxygen mask on first in order to help others. Because if you can't breathe then what good can come from that? Here's how I practice being selfish: I say what I like and don't like, finding a way to be clear and kind I ask for and take weekends and vacations to myself and they are glorious I exercise to feel good not to look good (but let's be honest I still look good!) I ask for help and I don't feel bad about it I tell my husband what I'm thinking, the good the bad and the ugly...and he holds space for it I don't do what doesn't feel right just to please others. Saying no can feel so good! I continue to invest a lot in personal development for my own growth I make my career and my impact a priority and I don't apologize for it I love being a mom and work to not sacrifice myself in order to be their mom If you have ever wondered what it would be like to be selfish GO FOR IT!! It's worth it! You're worth it! Fill your cup up first and then give from the overflow and enjoy being unapologetically selfish!

Out of alignment. It's easy to project our unhappiness or lack of fulfillment with our realities onto other people. Where are you out of alignment right now? We all have the magic wand in our back pocket we just have to call on the courage and the awareness to use it and go for the life we want! As we round out 2020 and head into a new year where do you want to bring alignment into your life? Comment below and let's start bringing that awareness into focus! #alignment #courage #awareness #newyeargoals #ownit
