Covid-19 Update December 11th, 2020 The Ontario government has announced that the Windsor/Essex area is moving into the Grey/Lockdown zone. Although this does affects many businesses our office is allowed to remain open to treat our patients following our current guidelines. All patients calling and entering the clinic will be asked the following questions:... 1. Do you presently have a fever, new onset of cough, worsening chronic cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing? 2. Have close contact with anyone with acute respiratory illness or travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days? 3. Do you have a confirmed case of COVID-19 or had close contact with a person with a confirmed case of COVID-19? 4. Do you have two (2) or more of the following symptoms: sore throat, runny nose/sneezing, nasal congestion, hoarse voice, difficulty swallowing, decrease or loss of sense of smell, chills, headaches, unexplained fatigue/malaise, diarrhea, abdominal pain, or nausea/vomiting? 5. Are you over 65 years of age and experiencing any of the following: delirium, falls, acute functional decline, or worsening of chronic conditions? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should: not attend the office for at least 14 days; complete the Ontario Government’s self-assessment; and contact an appropriate authority such as their family physician, local medical officer of health or Telehealth Ontario. All incoming patients must wear a mask and everyone must use the hand sanitizer upon entering. Each practitioner will be following their current hours. Let’s work together stay safe Natalie Zajacz Caitlin Jones Vesna Boras

As we begin to enter another round of uncertainty, I want to ensure everyone that all of us at the Massage Therapy Treatment Centre are keeping up with all of the new changes and guidelines. We are practicing every possible safety precaution to ensure everyone’s health and safety. 1.). Full screening will be conducted prior to your receiving treatment 2.). Your RMT is actively screening each day before work 3.). Our bathroom is cleaned after each use 4.). Thorough hand wa...shing, and surface area cleaning is being conducted in between each client 5.). We encourage you to safely distance yourself from others, maintaining 6ft between people and we, as therapists will get you into your treatment room as soon as possible 6.). High grade cleaning agents are being used everywhere 7.). We are continually keeping a contact tracing record to ensure your safety 8.). Masks must be worn at all times while you are in the clinical setting Please CANCEL your appointment with your therapist if you answer YES to any of the following: - travelled outside of Canada for recreational purposes 14 days prior to your treatment date -tested positive or have had direct contact with a covid-19 positive person 14 days prior to your treatment -have experienced any new symptoms such as shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, cough, sore throat, fever, diarrhea or vomiting, conjunctivitis or pink eye, or anything that may be concerning Thanks you immensely for your understanding during these difficult times. We all need to do our part in order to stay open. Natalie, Caitlin and Vesna

So happy to announce that after careful planning, restructure and organization, the Massage Therapy Treatment Centre plans to reopen with modified hours starting June 10, 2020. All of us have completed training modules in order to provide the most safe treatment environment. We are stocked with Government approved cleaning agents, PPE and other upgrades necessary to ensure everyone’s health and safety. Many measures have been put into place to make things run smoothly whe...n we reopen. Your therapist will go over all of these details prior to your appointment. Please know that your safety is our utmost priority!! Be Prepared: Clientele cannot come in if they have any of the covid19 symptoms or have travelled out of Ontario within 14 days of their appointment. There will be a form to be filled out outlining the risks that they may be taking by coming in for treatment as well as everything the clinic and therapist has done for prevention and protection. This must be dated and signed. They must wear their own mask to the clinic and dispose of after they leave. If they don't have one we will provide one to them for $1.00. A thorough risk assessment will be done prior to treatment. Masks must be worn during treatment. Hand sanitizer must be used when entering and leaving facility. We will be encouraging minimal contact in the facility. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact myself or your therapist! Be patient and understanding. A lot of planning has gone into reopening and we are doing our best to make it all come together! Kindly and in good health, Natalie, Caitlin and Vesna

As Covid-19 Numbers continue to rise in certain areas of Ontario, I wanted to assure all of our dedicated clientele, that we as therapists, are continuing to follow the strict guidelines given to us by the Ministry of health with respect to thorough screening, proper hand hygiene, sterilization and cleaning of the clinic treatment room areas and the clinic as a whole. We aim to continue to work at this capacity and provide all of you with the utmost therapeutic and profes...sional care possible. Let’s all do our part to keep businesses open and thriving Wishing you and your families a very Happy and safe Thanksgiving weekend! Remember to social distance as much as possible, wash your hands thoroughly for 20 seconds, use your masks, keep your loved ones safe and let’s get through this together!

Massage Therapy Treatment Centre 06.11.2020

Good Morning Everyone, You may have seen on the news that we are now allowed to start a gradual restart of services. We have been directed that we first must comply with the operational requirements to protect you and our staff. We must prioritize clients with essential care needs while gradually resuming practice. Treatment is considered essential when the client’s overall health or function would considerably decline if treatment were not provided (i.e. lead to hospitaliz...ation or other serious health consequences). This being said, Caitlin, Vesna and myself will be meeting tomorrow to discuss protocol, create signage and come up with a concrete plan to reopen in the safest way possible! Until then, if you have an emergency contact us and we will put on our reopen list. The Massage Therapy Treatment Centre aims to reopen June 10, 2020 for clientele who meet this criteria. If you already have an appointment, we will be in contact with you about next steps. We thank you for your patience during this time. Kindly, Natalie Zajacz Caitlin Jones Vesna Boras

With a new month approaching, we are hopeful that soon, we will be able to resume our services and reopen. Rest assure that myself, Caitlin and Vesna are getting fully prepared to ensure that once we reopen, we do so with top notch safety standards in place. Please be patient, stay positive and let’s work together! Once new procedures are in place we will be notifying each client as to what they should expect. These changes will be in place for both your protection and ours. We can’t wait to see all of you again soon!!

To keep you all informed, this post is to notify our clientele that all non-essential workplaces will remain closed until May 19, 2020. Obviously there is constant change, but until the numbers go down in this province our clinic will remain closed as per government protocol. I am currently preparing our new and improved protocol and expectations for clinical practice once it is able to resume. Each therapist will be in contact with their clientele once this information is complete. Please expect that there will be change, but each one of us will strive to provide efficient and safe services. Take care and be well! There are better days ahead
