Dec 27 Sugarplum snowflake choreography workshop is required for this event. Time and place info soon. Note: Due to Ontario's approaching 4 week lockdown, this filming may be done by the individual dancers from their homes. Films will then be shared on the studio's youtube channel. The NRStudio is dancing through the holidays and beyond! This morning we filmed Project O's Vignette #4 in Ottawa's Glebe neighborhood. Natasha dances in the Fallowfield Tree Farm pumpkin patch. 2020

DO YOU KNOW A CHILD WHO LOVES PUMPKINS? In the early autumn, Natasha went to the Fallowfield Tree Farm in Stittsville, ON. It was a magical morning. She saw piles of different colored pumpkins and she was excited to sketch and dance in the pumpkin patch (Thank you Shelley!). This experience inspired the Pumpkin Creative Experience. ... The Pumpkin Creative Experience is a BIG experience for children ages 4-9 and their parent-partners/families. It is a PDF that includes cool pumpkin facts, original photos and sketches from Natasha's creative outing to the Fallowfield Tree Farm, Natasha's original spooky pumpkin patch moving poem and a link to her performing it, Helen Cooper's story about pumpkin soup and friendship, as well as a yummy spiced pumpkin soup recipe and music to cook too! There are some optional detours that enhance artistic process, as well as explore the theme of friendship. (Yes. It is BIG!). There are also homeschooling themes for parent-partners. The Pumpkin Creative Experience activities can be staggered and used a lead up to a haunting Halloween. The activities can also be enjoyed over one smiling afternoon.
