Happy holidays and gratitude!
Couns. Nathalie Chambers and Judy Brownoff voted against moving to a public hearing. Chambers felt with the critique from residents, it was outlandish that the vote passed. She voiced concerns about increased density along the border of the Urban Containment Boundary and the potential for residents parking at Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park. Bringing the density onto the doorstep of a park is not a good idea, she told Black Press Media
Joy to the world. This is great news! Its seems 2021 is going to be a make up year!!! Fingers crossed. (introducing news on salmon farms- the return of Woodwynn farm back to the Tsartlip nation, protected parkland corridor additions), come on, keep it rolling .
Happy Holidays Saanich Residents!
My voice was missing from this article. I was in opposition. Top concern, placing this density on the UCB next to a CRD park with major wildlife and bird benefits especially in climate emergency. https://www.timescolonist.com//royal-oak-11-storey-condo-p

So nice to see SPD officer Shelley Smith . My bff in grade 8. Imagine we used to ride bikes together. Somehow I think she may now be faster now, lol.
