CHANCELLOR’S REFLECTIONS: On Mon Nov 23, of Sat Sun Nov 21 22, 2020 the Feast-Day of the Holy Archangel Michael (21st), the 24th Sunday after Pentecost, and... a milestone anniversary. Слава Богу за Все! Glory be to God for all His many blessings! Our God who loves us and who has called us to live, to love and to serve always provides and sustains us. It is we who doubt not God who wavers. This past weekend the calendar lined up by the Will and Grace of God to have us celebrate the Feast Day of the Holy Archangel Michael, the leader of all the Bodiless Powers of Heaven on Saturday. He is our common heavenly warrior protecting and shielding us. May our awareness of this grow in our lives as we journey through these pandemic times. The Gospel reading (St. Luke 8:41-56) for the 24th Sunday after Pentecost blesses us with not one but two significant healings that Our Lord works out of His love for us. May our awareness continue to grow in knowing that this healing and saving power is always near us and available to us as we reach out and just touch the hem of his garment Our God further blessed us to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Enthronement and service of His Eminence Metropolitan Yurij, as Primate of our UOCC. Over the ten years in which Metropolitan Yurij has served as Metropolitan, he has led our UOCC in celebrating her Centenary of missionary service here in Canada in 2018-19. Metropolitan Yurij also lead the efforts and support of the UOCC in being able to witness the re-birth of the Church in our ancestral home-land with the establishment of the autocephalous Orthodox Church in Ukraine in 2018-19. This milestone anniversary was marked virtually with the restricted limit of five people at the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Winnipeg, followed by a personal presentation at the residence of His Eminence. На Мног та Благ Лта, Владико! Once again, Our God always provides and sustains may we be open to His Love and to His sustenance today and always! Here’s wishing and praying a blessed week ahead to everyone, including the solemn commemorations on the 87th Anniversary of the Holodomor over the course of this week, and especially on the up-coming 4th Saturday of November. Cornell Zubritsky! The session will be on Technology within the Church and will begin at 6pm (MST), 7pm (CST), and 8pm (EST)....
