The Youth Permanent Participants from Arctic Athabaskan Council, Aleut International Association, Gwich'in Council International, Inuit Circumpolar Council Alas...ka, Inuit Circumpolar Council Canada, ICC Greenland, The Saami Council, RAIPON - Ассоциация КМНСС и ДВ РФ invite Arctic Indigenous youth to join an online event: Anniversary of the 1st Arctic Youth Leaders’ Summit on Tuesday 24 November 2020, 15:00-17:00 GMT. The topics of the online event are: - Life in the Arctic in covid-19 pandemic - Arctic youth leadership - Youth engagement These topics will be covered in the program that has two main parts: panel discussions and breakout sessions. Panelists are Indigenous youth from Alaska, Greenland and Russia and other Indigenous representatives from different Arctic regions. Declaration 2020 will be developed based on the discussions of the anniversary event. A separate public launch event for the declaration will take place in the near future.
