The wildlife we see when outdoors! This is an American Dipper / Cincle d’Amerique (lat. Cinclus mexicanus) 14cm long with a very short tail and so very alive during our long winters! one can observe it diving into water, staying under for a short time hunting for the aquatic insect larvae, snails and tiny then popping back up, hoping or flying along the shore before diving in again. The Dippers have enormous oil glands to waterproof their feathers, little flaps to seal their nostrils and heavy nictitations membranes or transparent extra eyelids to cover their eyes. Genius!

Feeling of the day, feeling of the time..

Who has family abroad and not enough vacation days to quarantine in both countries?! you’d have to go for 2-3 months so it’s worth it and then how can you keep your job?! (If you still have one that is.. ) This news made my day when it came out and for when I want or rather need to visit family and friends in my home country!
