Last week wasnt easy. There were a lot of movies, naps, crappy breakfast and lunches, next to no exercise or movement and a lot of dark moments. ... Moments I needed to cry, yell and just shut down. Moments where I didnt speak to my fiancée whos having just as hard of a time still going to work every day in this new world we live in. This week Ive challenged myself to do a little bit better. I woke up and got out of bed instead of laying there for an hour browsing my phone. I left my phone plugged in and I snuggled the cats instead. I made a coffee and instead of going back to bed, I went to the living room and basked in the sunshine starting to shine through the windows. I shut off the TV, threw on some workout gear and went outside. For the first time in the now almost month Ive been off I ran. I ran my little heart out. Then I conquered those stair runs. Another new goal of mine. Be able to do ten one those suckers flawlessly. We got to 5 today Let me tell you. It felt amazing This week is going to be better. Sure there will still be hard moments, but lets focus on the positive ones. This is my challenge for you, get outside. Greet those also out for their morning walk from a safe distance.
