Is your adventurous spirit calling?!?!? There are still spots left in our Weekend Getaway and Denison Falls Adventures! Weekend Getaway July 24th - 26th... On our two-day Lake Superior sea kayak adventure, we will enjoy landscapes carved from 10,000 years of wind and water, deep green boreal forests, rare Arctic disjunct plants and possibly a wide variety of wildlife including moose, fox, beaver and otters. We may even be fortunate enough to see woodland caribou and peregrine falcons. Denison Falls August 2nd - 7th This trip traces the Lake Superior coast of the Superior Highlands Conservation Reserve, a large swath of land encompassing unique geological features such as diabase dikes, pillows and kettles, a boreal-mixed forest and wildlife such as moose, beavers, bear and bald eagles. Cultural features include a small collection of First Nation Ojibwa pictographs.
