I have tried lots of different things in life to be able to practice sports at a certain level, I have also tried things to be able to just live pain free. Or tried things to feel good within my own body while I m sitting Diet is definitely the first step to all.. physical, spiritual and mental health We are constantly introducing stimulants in our bodies Coffee Sugar (refined flours is part of it)... Alcohol ( abuse) Inflammatory foods Fried and overcooked foods etc... I have been studying food and body since a young age and I found interesting how my mind is clear and exercise routine better after only one week of good diet My last reading is from an Italian orthopedic surgeon that together with a dietitian nutritionist is cutting down surgeries and medications to heal Arthritis with food The science is impeccable and the feeling of energy and health following these guidelines is addictive more than booze .. caffeine and fried chicken Restlessness, Attention problems, anxiety etc.. sometimes could just depend on an acidic and overstimulated organism I invite everyone to see a holistic nutritionist To find balance in your life See more

Lately the thought that not everyone can be pain free for ever and sometimes pain can seriously impede surfing or any other activities has caught my attention. We call real world a world where for necessity we do something..yes reality is we need to do whatever it takes to pay bills and toys.. sometimes what we do hurts the body but my point is we need to find a way to create a positive and alcaline environment in our bodies, our minds and find an exercise routine that best r...eflects who we are and where we live so that we can manage any pain we have and we can express ourselves during our free time. I found that the simpler the better Once we detox our body from junk food or inflammatory food, we follow a good sleep routine, our exercise routine will come on its own There is so much to say about living balanced but immagine being able to surf and play even after you retire..for ever Stay healthy and balanced and find your own balance because we are all unique See more

A new year thought on grains and alcohol: As I spent the past 2 weeks, the end of 2019 dealing with the probably worse knee pain in my medical history due to arthritis and inflammation, as well other body issues, and as I saw the pain and problems millions of people go through around the world due to allergies, illnesses, etc.. I decided to spend the past few days focusing on one major problem lots of people have that has stopped my surfing many times, inflammation and arthri...tis. I researched dozens of medical sites and naturopathy oriented sites and it's unbelievable the discrepancy between the 2... The most logic explanation was found in Naturopathy. The 2 biggest problems I see that are the worse addiction of humans are Alcohol and Sugar. When it comes down to sugar we are talking about any sort of refined sugar as well as WHEAT and GRAINS and the more processed they are such as white flour, pizza, scones, bread, etc..the more rapidly gets broken down by our organism and then turns into sugar. As Italian saying that pizza and wine is bad for you is a sinful comment but as a sportsman and a surfer that can't practice sports or surfing due to severe inflammation makes me rethink the whole thing. When we live in a world where the most money are made of Alcohol and junk food and we are constantly surrounded by it, it is very difficult to make a choice that is right and I will be the first one tomorrow morning shaking to the idea of not having a croissant with my coffee and a glass of wine with my pizza, but there are plenty of healthy substitutes out there and the feeling of doing what you love pain free or at all is priceless. It's just a shame that alcohol and junk food or greasy food in the morning for hangover has to be the stereotype for fun..Because fun is when we can see clear and we can make healthy choices MODERATION is a word I heard many times but the meaning of the word can be too subjective sometimes.
