Nature Manitoba 23.10.2020

With hundreds of members participating in hundreds of Nature Manitoba activities over the years, we have an extensive archive of photos! Unfortunately many of them are duplicates and/or were not labelled in detail. So to celebrate our 100th anniversary we thought it would be fun to put them out to our membership to help us identify the who, what, where of these photos. Each month we will put a new album on our Facebook page for you to take a look at. Then feel free to add your thoughts (reminiscing strongly encouraged!) in the comments below each photo. Please remember photos may not reflect current Nature Manitoba safety standards. Many photos were from a time when smoking indoors and wearing a life jacket were both optional!

A great opportunity to support bird conservation in Manitoba this Saturday! Our IBA program is looking for some volunteers to put in a little bit of sweat equity for our shorebirds. Jut a few hours of work, and no bird knowledge is required for this event. Contact Amanda (see photo) for more info.

Practice social (physical) distancing when visiting provincial parks, including trails and all public areas. Keep two metres away from others, don't gather in groups. Check www.manitobaparks.com before your visit. For accurate information on #COVID19, visit www.manitoba.ca/covid19.
