A full blue moon will light up this sky on Halloween! The next time we will see a blue moon will be Halloween 2039. Take in the magic with a slice of our Once in a Blue Moon Pie! Crust Ingredients: ... 1 cup Medjool Dates, pitted 1 cup raw almonds 3/4 cup gluten free oats 3 tbsp coconut oil 1 tsp vanilla Pinch of salt Avocado oil spray Preheat oven to 350 F Spray pan with avocado oil on the pan. Set aside. Place all ingredients in a high powered blender or a food processor and blitz for 5 minutes or until the mixture reaches a coarse sand consistency. Transfer the mixture to the pan, press the ingredients and distribute it evenly. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown on edges. First Layer: 1 cups Thai Kitchen coconut milk cup raw honey 2 organic limes freshly squeezed tsp Now agar Second Layer: 3-4 tbsp water 1 tbsp spirulina blue superfood powder 1 cups Thai Kitchen coconut milk tsp Now agar 1/4 cup raw honey 1 tsp vanilla extract Garnish (optional) 1/4 cup blueberries 1/4 cup blackberries 1/4 cup cranberries 1-2 limes First Layer: Pour the coconut milk into a saucepan. Stir in the agar until it has completely dissolved. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes stirring constantly. Turn off the heat and stir in the honey and lime juice. Allow to cool briefly (8-10 minutes) and pour onto the chilled crust. Place it in the refrigerator for an hour or until the top has set. Blue Layer: Pour water into a small cup and stir in the spirulina powder to dissolve. Set aside. Add the coconut milk to a saucepan. Stir in the agar until it has completely dissolved. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Turn off the heat and stir honey and vanilla extract, followed by the spirulina water. Let it cool for 5 minutes and then carefully pour it on the lime layer. Place it back in the fridge for another 2 hours, or until firm. Once the filling has set completely, garnish with fresh blueberries, blackberries, and limes.

Green peppers are harvested earlier, before they have a chance to turn yellow, orange, and then red. Compared to green bell peppers, the red ones have almost 11 times more beta-carotene and 1.5 times more vitamin C.

Dandelion: digestive benefits and helps reduce skin inflammation and irritation, while also increasing hydration and collagen production. Basil: supports the liver, improves digestion, heals an upset tummy and has adaptogenic power. Ingredients 2 cups boiling water 1 tea bag @yogitea Calming 1 tbsp @clefdeschampsbio Homemade Unsweetened Elderberry juice (see below) 3 capsules Kare & Hope Milk Thistle 2 capsules @natureswaycanada Dandelion A few basil leaves (micro basil works too) Directions 1) Make a batch of homemade elderberry juice in advance 2) Boil water 3) Add tea bag into a mason jar 4) Add in 1 tbsp of elderberry juice into the mason jar 3) Open dandelion and milk thistle capsules and add to the jar 4) Add in basil 5) Pour boiling water over ingredients and stir 6) Let steep for 10 minutes and remove tea bag 7) Have half of the elixir first thing in the morning and the remainder before dinner Homemade Unsweetened Elderberry Juice Ingredients 4 tbsp of whole dried elderberry 1 litre of water Directions 1) Soak dried elderberry in the litre of water in the fridge for 3 hours 2) Simmer in a medium sauce pan for 45 minutes 3) cool and store in a mason jar 4) If you want to sweeten and make into a syrup, add in raw honey (to taste) once elderberry juice is room temp What’s your fave warming elxir this fall? #ingredientsforlivingwell #autumnelixir #falltonic #naturesemporium
