Nauticol is proud to be mentioned by Mayor Bill Given and Economic Development Manager Christopher King in Business in Calgary’s December 2019 article about Grande Prairie's economic resiliency. We strive to find opportunities that promote collaborations and achieve sustainable long term social and economic benefits. The County of Grande Prairie No. 1 offers one of the most vibrant, entrepreneurial and business-friendly economic climates in North America, and we are happy to be a part of it. Today Nauticol participated in Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation's career fair alongside Women Building Futures and PCL Construction. Nauticol is proud of the positive and collaborative relationships that we are continuing to build with Indigenous communities in the vicinity of our projects. These relationships are based on respect for Indigenous rights, traditions, knowledge and perspectives and are focused on creating long-term opportunities for Indigenous communities. We spoke with many great individuals today and are excited for the opportunities to come.

Thank you to Grande Prairie MLA Tracy Allard for expressing your support for our vision and for hosting us and our partners, PCL Construction. With government support through programs such the Alberta Indigenous Opportunities Corporation and Petrochemicals Diversification program, and through expedited regulatory processes, Nauticol is proposing to accelerate the build time of our Grande Prairie project, which at full completion is expected to contribute over $2.1 billion in ...tax revenue to the province of Alberta. Through this continued cooperation with the Alberta government, Nauticol plans to construct all 3 proposed methanol units simultaneously, effectively accelerating the project build by up to 3 years and creating an additional 5000 jobs in Alberta. Having recently reached several key regulatory milestones, as well as signing an agreement with TC Energy to connect our facility to the TC natural gas pipeline network, Nauticol will continue to work with our First Nations partners and the government to reach our 2020 construction target and get more Albertans back to work. @TravisToews
