Thank you everyone for your patience as we figured out a new date for our concert celebration. You're tickets that you bought for the April 9th date will be goo...d for this new date - May 25th. And if you are in a different time zone - you will be able to watch the show after the fact for the next 7 days. This year has been a year of surrendering to whatever comes up, and being flexible and able to just go with the flow. Thank you for flowing with us :). Hello everyone - you may have heard already - but Ontario is about to go into another lockdown and there are new covid restrictions which will affect the Al Qah...wa & friends concert at Koerner Hall. We will not be able to do the livestream on my birthday - April 9th - as planned. We will be picking a new date (I promise it will be as soon as we are allowed!) next week. Those of you who have already purchased tickets will have the option of holding on to them and using them once we've picked the new date - or contacting the Royal Conservatory of Music to get a refund. You will be receiving an e-mail from Koerner Hall on Tuesday about it. Thank you so much for all of your support so far. As you can imagine, this is very hard and disappointing for all of us- but we all have to do our part to help stop the spread. Thank you for your understanding - once I have the new date, you will all be the first to know! Take care everyone p.s. Al Qahwa rehearsal at the Aga Khan Museum - this little snippet is one of our oldies but goodies. We also have some brand new repertoire we’re working on to sha...re with you at Koerner Hall :) Thank you to Amirali and Jamica for helping me find a space big enough for 10 people to safely rehearse - it was pure joy to be able to do this together again in one space. Ed Wall at the Aga Khan Museum told us it was the first time they had live music in the building this year - very healing for all of us who are having a tough time with everything that is going on If you are wondering if there is any way you can support us artists during this time, one way you can do it is to buy a ticket in advance to our Koerner Hall Livestream concert.
