Weekly Beer Release #9 Berliner Weisse is a German sour beer with a reserved alcohol content that has been brewed since the Middle Ages. Since the 19th centu...ry, the tart flavour has often been balanced after pouring with a shot of raspberry or woodruff syrup. This is our take on the Berliner Weisse (pronounced the same as Bear-leen-er Vice-uh)... we upped the ABV to 5%, and added a small dose of woodruff syrup to the tank directly. The sweet, earthy woodruff helps cut the acidic sourness of the Weisse, yielding a very complex and tasty beer. Growler fills start tomorrow at 11am, 82 Marr Rd. We also have a limited amount of the The Half of It, a New England ISA at 4.5% and Return to the Moon double IPA left. When they’re gone, they gone!
