We wanted to share this request to our Northern Bottling community. I'm sure many of you have heard of "Mighty Max" from Fairview, he's just two years old & has a rare genetic disorder & requires a specialized medication that his family will have to pay for - the cost is almost $3 000 000 Tomorrow the local community is holding a bottle drive and the picture below lists places in the community where recycling can be dropped off. Northern Bottling was very happy to make a donation today & challenges our entire community to do what you are able to help this family reach their goal & for Max to have a better quality of life.

You may not be able to find cans locally but you'll find Cran-Ale in 2 litres & 500 ml bottles until new products are introduced in the Spring! (regular & zero cal!)

In Grande Prairie today, our annual House of Hope event is being held at the Canadian Tire with proceeds going towards RMHC Alberta and Kev's Kids! RMHC Albert...a has been involved in this event for nine years, which brings in close to $10,000 per year, and sees thousands of cans of Coca-Cola product sold to the community in one day for a great cause! Thanks to local partners 97.7 ROCK Grande Prairie, Canadian Tire, and Northern Bottling Distributors Ltd. And a big thank you to Coca-Cola. Aside from contributing to our mission to serve families as a National Mission Partner of Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada, Coca-Cola donates product in-kind to our Houses year-round, as well as sponsoring fundraising events. #KeepingFamiliesClose

Responsibilities: Maintain and replenish products in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by transporting product between backroom/storage room to front-of-store with manual or powered equipment (pallet jack, hand-truck, changing and removing product displays; maintaining product signage; cleaning product space and securing damaged or defective produc Manage backroom by organizing stock (product); evaluating and processing damaged product; organizing backroom materials...; completing any required paperwork Follow all Company and Store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety Daily Activities: Repetitively lift, carry, and position product (weighing up to 50 lbs or 22 kgs) above shoulder height without assistance Consistent kneeling, squatting and reaching above the head Ability to push and pull manual and powered equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards Position Requirements: Qualifications: Must have a reliable personal vehicle for use during working hours Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks or certification, preferred 1 year experience working under little or no supervision, preferred **wage will be re-evaluated after 90 day probation period**
