Just a friendly reminder that there is no school for students tomorrow!

Our Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thursday evening and Friday morning. Teachers will be reaching out to schedule appointments. Due to Parent Teacher Conferences and Professional Learning for our staff, students will not have school on Friday, April 16th!

The PSSC meets 4 times a year to discuss matters that affect the quality of education and achievement in our school. Come and join the conversation! A friendly reminder!

Due to changes with Harvey Studios, the date for our Picture Day has changed. Our new date will be November 12, 2020! Please share.

On Thursday, we will be practicing our Bus Evacuation procedures. Our staff will be reviewing bus rules with all students and each class will attend a scheduled presentation during the day.

Orange Shirt Day at LBS!

On Wednesday, September 30th we are asking all staff and students to wear an orange shirt. Every Child Matters, is an affirmation of our commitment to raise awareness of the residential school experience and to ensure that every child matters as we focus on our hope for a better future in which children are empowered to help each other.

Last call for agenda money! A friendly reminder that agenda money needs to be paid by Friday. The cost of the agenda is $6.50. Payment can be sent to the homeroom teacher.

A friendly reminder that our Terry Fox Walk will be starting tomorrow and please send in your toonie to your child’s homeroom teacher. Your donations are greatly appreciated!

Dear parents and guardians of LBS students, My kitchen will be open tomorrow! We also setup www.cafzone.ca to preorder lunches at our school! Tomorrow, our main meal will be lasanga and salad with your choice of a milk or juice for $6 with fruit of the day.... Other items that can be bought on a daily basis are pizza, garlic slices, wraps, sandwiches, chicken fingers, chicken burgers, chicken nuggets, snacks, etc. If you have any questions feel free to call me at 753-8181. Kindergarten Registration 2020

A friendly reminder that agenda money needs to be paid by tomorrow. The cost of the agenda is $6.50. Payment can be sent to the homeroom teacher. Microwaves are limited this year due to cleaning protocols so please send lunches that do not need to be heated. Students are not permitted on our playground before 8:00am. Our supervision starts at 8:00am. Please abide by these regulations for the safety of all staff and students.
