Hi, I'm Ananthakrishnan. You can call me AK. I'm currently living in Dieppe, NB. My Creative Background: I worked in the post sound department in Mollywood (South Indian Film Industry). I have a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication, an advanced diploma in Audio Engineering and Recording Arts, and a Post Graduation in Business Management from Cape Breton University. ... I am also an Indian classical singer with 16 years of Carnatic music learning experience. I have performed in more than 40 concerts as a vocalist. I was a video journalist (For CBU), sound designer (for Broadmore Playhouse), and media assistant (for Enactus Cape Breton). I have performed in Hello Cape Breton (in 2019) and Diwali Celebration at Cape Breton University (2018 and 2019). With Cape Breton's cultural influence, I had the opportunity to be an assistant stage manager for several Celtic Colors events. After being in Nova Scotia for a while, I realized that there is a vibrant community of filmmakers in Atlantic Canada. I am very interested in learning more by job shadowing to see how the post sound, post video, camera, and sound jobs are done in the Atlantic film region. I am happy to volunteer to begin my career here. I am a very open person with tremendous curiosity to learn all the filmmaking aspects in my new community. I can help with sound effects design, ambient sound design, sound editing, video editing, music composing, music/sound mixing, field sound recording, etc.
