Well we just wrapped up Hunger Action Month 2020 Road Trip day # 2....Today, we delivered another 126 boxes of fresh and non-perishable food items to tenants living in 4 County owned housing locations in Cobourg and Port Hope. In the last 2 days we delivered more than 320 boxes of food to our neighbors living throughout Northumberland County. In total, we distributed 800 lbs of potatoes, 360 lbs of bananas, 330 lbs of carrots, 660 apples, 660 oranges, 330 tubes of toothpaste, 495 tooth brushes, 165 bottles of sanitizing spray and 4,125 lbs of assorted non-perishable food items. #feedingnorthumberland #HungerActionMonth #FeedChange

Today was Hunger Action Month 2020 Road Trip day 1. What better way to spend the day than delivering 100 fresh food hampers and 100 emergency food boxes to tenants living in County owned social housing units. We made stops in Campbellford, Brighton and Colborne and visited 5 separate buildings. We can’t wait to hit the road for day 2 tomorrow and share more food hampers with our neighbours. #northumberlandcounty #hungeractionmonth #feedchange
