2021 Life at the Land Calendar Artist Spotlight May’s Artist Spotlight Dan Wever Dan is a Fair Goer since 2005... Where was your photo taken? My picture was taken as you enter through the fence by the "Store"... it was a pleasure to watch him make that masterpiece out of a pile of sand! When did you first come to The Land/NCF? I believe my first Fair I attended was in 2005' at the "Land." My brother & a few of his friends have been attending the NCF since day one!(Part of the "older hippy" generation!)He kept nagging me over & over to come to one of these Fair's but I kept putting it off! Finally, back in 2005' the wife & I decided to check it out & I can seriously say now....I look forward to attending it every year!(I am very disappointed now that I missed experiencing the NCF in the Joussard days by the lake!) What is your favourite thing about the North Country Fair? My favourite thing about the NCF is, well it would definitely be a combination of things! Every year I look forward to the amazing variety of bands & acts offered, the food & merchandise vendors are fabulous,& the overall atmosphere of great, friendly people has to be included here! I never get tired of hearing or like saying, "Happy Fair! " Anything else you would like to add about The Land of the North Country Fair? One of my favourite hobbies is photography, so every year I take a series of photos to capture some of the highlights of that Fair. I truly thought I seen it all with the colourful variety of apparel on "Formal Fridays" & "Psychedelic Saturdays"....then a lot of us witnessed a wedding on the Reed stage....remember that year! I realize these Fairs would not happen without the countless hours & efforts of all the volunteers....a BIG "Thank You" goes out to you all my friends!
