A big thank you to Derek Kedzierski from St. Joseph Bakery who has done so many wonderful things in the community recognized by the the Meridian Credit Union. In turn, Meridian granted Derek a $1000 donation to use towards the charity of his choice, which came to benefit our Music Gives program via ProKids. With this, a number of our students benefiting from the program who may not otherwise have had the opportunity, will continue with their growth as young musicians. We're truly humbled and so fortunate to continue to have the support from so many amazing organizations in the Niagara area, allowing us to keep this wonderful program growing. Thank you again to Derek from St. Joseph Bakery along with Nick Savelli from the Meridian Credit Union. Happy holidays!

#NiagaraconservatoryQuickTip: Play along with a group of people While solo lessons are great, it's also a good idea to try playing along with others. This will help you learn from your fellow musicians, develop an ear for music, and become comfortable playing in front of an audience!

#NiagaraConservatoryQuickTip: Play along with a song. It sounds simple (and hey, it rhymes!), but it's also a great way to get a feel for playing the song you want to learn. You'll get a better idea of patterns and notes, and with practice it'll be easy to play on your own.
