This week in kindergarten we worked cooperatively to build a "forest code" for our friends to follow during Forest Wednesday. . We swept the pavement then decorated with kind words and beautiful art to surprise and bless our school. . Together we created a story about taking care of each other.... . We worshipped together. . In the principal's weekly video Mr. Sijpheer takes us driving in the Dominican Republic where there aren’t road rules, only suggestions. Driving there is fun but total chaos! Mr. Sijpheer reminds us that the devil often uses fun things to try to lure us away from following God’s rules. Our teaching staff are learning today at the annual Christian Educators of BC’s InspirED Convention streaming virtually now across the province and at our school. Amazing speakers! This month Nanaimo Christian School's grade 11/12 creative writing students honoured Canada's military veterans by putting themselves in their shoes and writing letters "home" to loved ones.
