Northcrest YOUTH Bowling League 19.12.2020

Okay.. so this is the final update until lockdown ends. If you see any scores incorrect, or missing, please let me know and I will correct it for the next upd...ate. 5 Pin Peewees - No one has finished their 6 games as of yet, currently Hailey Mitchell of Echo Bowl is leading both scratch and handicap divisions. 10 Pin Peewees - Only two bowlers in this division so far, and only 1 has games currently. Trevor Luck Jr. of Northcrest Lanes has finished all of his qualifying games and waits now for his opponents. 5 Pin Bantams - Six bowlers have completed their first 9 games. Liam Boles of Fairview Lanes is leading both scratch and handicap divisions. Tiffany Furlong Flieder from Markham Bowl sits 2nd in scratch, with Kaitlyn Irwin of Sunset Lanes in 3rd. Kaitlyn is also 2nd in the handicap division, with Andi Jacobi of Sunset Lanes close behind in 3rd. 10 Pin Bantams - A pair of bowlers from Northcrest Lanes sits at the top of the scratch division. Evan Bates is 1st, with a 12 pin lead over fellow bowler Noah Pringle. Callum Downton of Marcin Bowl currently sits 3rd. Marcin Bowl has a pair of bowlers at the top of the handicap division. Cornell Nugent is 1st, with Coltin Hutchinson in 2nd. Evan Bates from Northcrest Lanes is 3rd in handicap as well. 5 Pin Juniors - Eric Berg of Sunset Lanes has a commanding lead in the scratch division, with Felicia Currie of Fairview Lanes is 2nd, and Cuyler Brisland of Markham Bowl sitting 3rd. Eric Berg is also leading the handicap division, with Felicia and Cuyler flipping positions; Cuyler sitting in 2nd with a 2 pin lead over Felicia. 10 Pin Juniors - Sebastian Woronchak of Jeff's Bowlorama has an impressive lead in the scratch division, with William Banton of Northcrest Lanes in 2nd and Terrell Gray from Marcin Bowl in 3rd. Terrell managed to edge out Sebastian in the handicap division, taking the top spot by 1 pin. Jay Pine of Northcrest Lanes moved into 3rd place. 5 Pin Seniors - 22 of 39 bowlers managed to start the tournament, but only 3 bowlers were able to finish their 9 games. Sarah Currie of Georgian Bowl sits 1st in both divisions, with Mayeli Cornejo and Alex Seloterio from Markham Bowl flipping spots in each division; Mayeli 2nd in scratch, 3rd in handicap and Alex 3rd in scratch, 2nd in handicap division. 10 Pin Seniors - This is the only division where everyone got to start their tournament, with 18 of 24 finishing their first 9 games. Evan Souter of Jeff's Bowlorama is 1st in the scratch division, with Jacob Bestard in 2nd and Jordan Grondin of Northcrest Lanes in 3rd. In the handicap division, Matthew Massicotte-Finch of Northcrest Lanes edged his was into the top spot over Evan Souter, with Zac Purpura, also from Jeff's Bowlorama, closely behind in 3rd. As I mentioned before, Southern Ontario is in lockdown until I believe January 22nd at the earliest. If everyone is bowling at that time, I will end any new entries on January 31st. That would leave any new bowlers 3 weeks, and everyone could move onto the final 9 games starting the last week of February. Of course, this is most likely to change, and I will figure out new timelines as new information is rolled out. Hope everyone has a safe and happy new year, looking forward to getting this tournament rolling again in 2021! Marc..
