A little sneak peak of a beautiful piece we designed for a lucky client. Shou sugi ban* octagonal picnic table. Seamless design through and through.... Butcher block polygon table-top finished off with clear epoxy resin for a glass like surface, completed with cedar trim. Butcher block seamless seating finished with cedar trim and clear coat protection. *shou sugi ban- Ancient Japanese technique of preserving wood through the use of burning the wood, which in turn leave a waterproof, bug and mould as well as sun resistant finish.
