Some folks are curious about the "final" numbers in Saskatoon Churchill-Wildwood. After the count of the mail-in ballots received on October 26th and before October 26th, things have tightened up considerably. It is now a 403 vote difference between the NDP and the Sask Party in Churchill-Wildwood. We now have 45% and they have 50%. In 2016 in Churchill-Wildwood, the NDP got 40% to the Sask Party's 53% and the Sask Party had 934 more votes and the NDP. So, we were able to re...duce the gap between the NDP and the Sask Party by quite bit both in terms of percentage and raw vote. There are still 630 mail-in ballots that were issued and have not yet been counted so we will have to wait until to November 7th to see where we will end up. Some will make it to Regina on time and others will not. So far, the mail in ballots have been going the NDP's way so I am hopefully that we can reduce the gap more (though, I fully understand that winning is not a possibility). Once again, I want to thank all of my staff and volunteers. You are the reason that we made progress in Saskatoon Churchill-Wildwood and we made it close. I am so grateful to everyone of you! I am truly humbled by the hard work and dedication that you displayed and the confidence that you had in me. Together, we stood up for our principles and explained our positive vision for the future of our province to the voters of Saskatoon Churchill-Wildwood. Though the outcome was not what we wanted, you should all be very proud of running such fantastic campaign. Thank you!

Out knocking on doors in Saskatoon Churchill-Wildwood one more time before Election Day. I was happy to be joined by Harris Ferguson, who voted for the Sask Party in the last election. He is working for the NDP this time around because he is fed up with Scott Moe’s cuts to education. A lot of folks in Churchill-Wildwood who voted for the Sask Party in the last election feel the same way- it’s time for a government that puts people first!

Despite the election being only two days away, we picked up another sign location this afternoon! Full steam ahead for the final two days of the election campaign!
