What I have been up to... I have done some traveling, teaching, schooling, and volunteering, all in the desire to stay active and immersed in alternative education. After leaving Costa Rica where the Nomadic Democratic School of Awesome was born, I was fortunate enough to manage a private homeschool in Malibu California, designing the space, curriculum and daily timetable as well as working as the main teacher. I worked with the most incredible Nature based program called EV...ERWILD as the lead mentor and project designer for days spent on a beautiful organic farm. I have worked as a teacher to countless international students in both the public and private boards from kindergarten to high school seniors. It has been a pleasure to collaborate with other alternative schools as an educational consultant, supporting in curriculum and project design as well as offering assistance in hiring and the purchasing of resources.
