I wish our mothers were... Mothers! They are called living angels or incarnation of gods and so on, they never love us less. Our guardian angels who cannot see us being hurt. While showering so much love on us, I wish our mothers pushed us a little to face the world rather than holding us back out of love. That one tournament, that I didn't play, because my mother's math predicted the onset of my period that week; that course that I did not choose because my mother felt it ...was meant for men and I would not have not female peers if that took that course; That trip that I never went on because my mother felt it was unsafe for me to travel all by myself; All of out of love that couldn't fathom her kid being hurt, being embarrassed, or risking her safety. I wish I could do all of this, may be I would have become a better version of me. I wish to see a world with more mothers who could be gladiators if needed, and raise their kids as warriors to fight the challenges that life throws at us.
