Happy New Year Cheers to 2021 As we move into this new cycle, we do so with optimism, with hope and with deep reflection. We are optimistic that the individual lights we shine will illuminate the world with love and peace. ... We are hopeful that our collective consciousness will rise and that we will continue to remember our interconnectedness. We are eternally grateful for our community, near and far, for all of the lessons and blessings. We will be deeply reflecting on 2020 to gain wisdom and grow closer to the callings of our soul. Feeling Merry + Bright Thanks to You! There’s so much that can be reflected upon when we look back on a year, and 2020 is one we will all remember! Our word for 2020 was SURRENDER. ... There were many moments when we wanted to resist the flow, but in the act of surrendering to what was, we were able to rise up and keep shining. We found strength, we found new ways to navigate, we looked into our toolbox of yoga practices (and really used them) and we continually circled back to our mission - to seed consciousness. We kept our vision alive because the awe-some people that make up the Nectar Yoga community. Time and time again, despite this year’s particular hardships on all of us, our community kept showing up for us. This truly meant everything to us. From the bottom of our grateful hearts, thank you so much to each and every one of you who supported our vision. From booking a day or overnight retreat with us, to buying gift cards, to writing online reviews and sharing our space on your social platforms, the list goes on in other ways, but we are beyond thankful for every gesture. So to conclude our #24DaysOfGiving and as a way of sharing the glow of kindness + gratitude, we’re hosting a fundraiser for one of our favourite local BC charities @saintsrescue SAINTS is a sanctuary for senior and special needs animals (of all kinds) who have no place else to go.
