Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014 The Stanley Park FieldHouse is hosting NECTAR camps this week and next. This week, children are enjoying the Animalia theme where they learn about various fauna from near and far.

PM Disney Dance

Thursday, July 31, 2014 PM - 1st Annual Disney Dance Guests at the FieldHouse today got the royal treatment. Dozens of princesses, knights in shining armour and ohter handsome young cavaliers danced and played amongst balloons, streamers, Disney princesses and all the Disney music they could dream of. They enjoyed pizza and a "candy" bar complete with sparkle cookies, sour gummy worms, multi-coloured Freezies, juice and lemonade. Some lucky guests won the raffles at the end of the dance - walking away with wall posters from everyone's new favourite, Frozen.

Wednesday, July 30, 2014 AM - Croc Dog PM - Soccer... Those familiar with the snatching-the-bone-from-the-dog-dish game (and initiates) came to the FieldHouse today to escape the rain showers and play games. Croc Dog was on the menu - trying to capture as many bones from the sleeping dog's dish before you get caught. Tomorrow, Thursday, July 31st, will be the first annual Disney Ball, held at the Stanley Park FieldHouse. Guests are all invited (for a small entrance fee $2). The dress code is Disney prince and princess (or as close you can get!). (Superheroes are for another day. It's a regal New Edinburgh affair.) There will be Disney favourites - contemporary and classic (Frozen, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Little Mermaid, etc.) to dance to, and a raffle for excellent prizes. Refreshments will be served. The Disney Ball begins at 5 p.m. running until 7 p.m. Bring your children and have them make history - New Edinburgh's First Annual Disney Ball! See you tomorrow!
