We’re hiring! Firewood Factory supplies high quality firewood and landscaping supplies. We have a small, loyal team and have seen consistent growth in our 5 yea...rs of business. We are looking for another team member to help manage our office on Torbay Rd. We're looking for someone who can: - Manage sales at our woodlot (interact with customers, perform point of sale transactions, manage customer service), - Schedule and manage invoices for home deliveries of products (using Square), - Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a professional manner, - Assist with creating social media content, - Seek opportunities with potential new vendors, and - Ensure consistent communication/ follow up with existing customers and vendors. We're looking for someone that's interested in staying with us long term. This position is year-round, 40 hours per week at $17/hour. The work schedule will be Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30am to 5pm during our busier months (April October) with the possibility of switching to Monday to Friday during our less busy months. Seven paid sick/family days and two weeks of paid vacation will be provided per year. Site visits to existing and potential vendors may be required from time to time.
