My gosh, three years when we started we had less than half of what we are donating today! Thank you to our awesome patients who make this possible. The Devon Christmas Elves are busy bringing cheer and hope to families, we love what you do. Every few months we calculate the proceeds from fluoride treatments and choose a local group to support. This donation reflects the months of July, August, September. The next group will be supported in the New Year. Thank you all, Merry Christmas, and season's greetings!

This is a treatment we did recently. It is super rewarding to provide any treatment when a patient can see and feel a difference Thank you to our patient who trusted us with her care and consented to sharing the photos :) Here we did something called a cantilever bridge that is permanently glued.... We cant do this treatment for all missing teeth but it was definitely a viable option for this case. The other treatment options were an implant or a denture. An implant is the ideal treatment but more investment $$. A denture is a removable device and sometimes not tolerated as well. The advantage of the cantilever design is its cost effectiveness and more conservative than a traditional bridge. We often do a traditional bridge for most of our tooth replacements, so this was unique that we could do a cantilever design. The photos are only for reference of whats possible and your treatment will always be unique to anyone else, please consult with your dentist to see if this is a viable option for you

When the Town of Devon, Alberta, Canada introduced a Singe-Use Plastic Retail Bag Bylaw, we were reminded of the impact we can have on the environment if we all work together. One of my favorite treatments is to repair a front tooth. Patients are super appreciative and you can see/feel the result . This is a real patient who came to us before the long weekend as an emergency visit. It was really important to us that he could enjoy his bbq for the weekend We used filling material only (no crown or veneer). I show this to illustrate what is possible, every case is unique and we cant guarantee the same outcome for everyone. But we will certainly bring our best care to everyone. Stacy- our wonderful, organized, and compassionate front desk specialist moved to Devon in 2004 with her husband Drew. Together they have three very active children. Stacy has also been an active member of the community since moving here, and volunteers her time coaching both baseball and hockey, as well as being an executive member with Devon Minor Baseball since 2011. She is a familiar face in her childrens school where she has spent many volunteer hours. Stacy left her finance career to stay home and focus on raising her young family. 6 years later she decided it was time to look for a new career and found her fit with Devon Neighborhood Dental. When you enter our clinic, Stacy will be there to welcome you with a warm smile and make sure all your questions are answered and needs are responded to.
