On Easter Sunday Riversdale Neighbours met outdoors at 10 am in the Community Garden (at the Ovide Bighetty Resurrection images presented in partnership with Indigenous Christian Fellowship) to celebrate Resurrection Sunday together.
In partnership with Indigenous Christian Fellowship in Regina (www.icfregina.ca), Riversdale Neighbours is posting an inspiring set of images and meditations along the path in Victoria Park which will be on display from April 2-6, 2021. The images, featuring the series 'Kisemanito Pakitinasuwin- The Creator's Sacrifice' from celebrated Indigenous artist Ovide Bighetty, depict moments in the story of the Passion of the Christ as related in the Gospels, interpreted in Bighetty's Woodlands style through his cultural lens. Neighbours will be placing the artworks along the path on Good Friday, April 2, 2021 at 10:00am. Those participating will be mustering at the bench under the trees by 15th and Avenue H. Masks and Social Distancing protocols will be followed to ensure the safety of all.

Living Room Liturgy Level Two: the public space
In early 2015 when we left the space that we were renting on 20th St W, we had no idea that it would be more than five years until Riversdale Neighbours found a public space that would be conducive to the kind of gathering we were imagining and realizing together. For awhile, it began to feel like perhaps we'd never be looking at something different, since God seemed fine with us meeting as we were, where we were. And then COVID-19 happened. So here we are now, thinking nuan...ced thoughts and seeing the Dudley Common as a place where we can continue to engage in our Living Room Liturgy with the low barrier, the winsome mutuality and the potluck music in a public space that also affords us the room to social distance appropriately - a difficulty in the living room of That House on H if anybody happened to want to bring someone extra with them. That's God for you- always inviting us to look at things in a new way. This Sunday will be our first gathering in the lovely atrium at Dudley Common! 3:00pm 2543 Dudley St. Childcare provided. Social distancing measures in place. (Pictured, L-R: Pastor Darryl Dozlaw, Amy Caswell Bratton (holding the signed lease agreement), Pastor Joe Manafo of Lakeview Church, and Colin Enns of Keystone Paving/Dudley Common)
Loving the neighbours... This Sunday we explore Matthew 22.34-46 together. 3:00pm at that house on H... (713 Avenue H South- childcare provided) NOTE: Due to Covid-19 protocols laid out by the Saskatchewan government we are currently limiting our gatherings to 15 people. If you would like to join us in person please contact us before the service to ensure we will have space for you. Alternatively, all of our worship gatherings can now be participated in online through Zoom. Please, send us a message if you would like to join us in person or to receive the link to participate through Zoom.
