When people get together neighborly care just happens. Recently a single mother was having break problems with her car and did not have enough $$$ to fix it. Dependent on the car for her income, this was a major crises. One of the retired men at our Centre just happened to be a mechanic, and offered to fix her breaks for her. The result is that the lady got her car fixed for free, a savings of $800! She is on the road again doing her job which is helping migrant workers in the Leamington area. Together we help one another, and what we do for others is paid forward into many people's lives

Neighbor helping neighbor was a real blessing to a family that was facing an unexpected time of need. A person offered to help the family with a week of groceries that were purchased using the accumulated points from their grocery card.
