I was honoured to help select The Male Ego Hairstyling to receive a $10,000 grant on April 13th. The funds are part of Desjardins Insurance’s GoodSpark Small Business Grants Program and will be used to help the local business overcome challenges posed by the pandemic. Desjardins Insurance is providing grants to 75 small businesses across the country as part of a $1M investment.... The 75 small businesses supported by the GoodSpark program represent a cross section of industries and include restaurants, retail outlets, cleaning firms, dance studios, dry cleaners, hair and nail salons, floral shops, and sports-related firms, among others. The businesses were nominated by Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network financial advisors across the country. Thank you to the Yarmouth and Area Chamber of Commerce for helping to identify a number of businesses to nominate!
