Expectation vs. reality of me painting. This was a cute little photography project creating staged photographs. I loved these pictures so much because all the pieces fit together well. Don't be fooled though, this is definitely not what my studio looks like . I tend to be alot messier when I'm painting and I sometimes like to work on the floor for more space. My lovely bf thinks my hair looks like a little Portobello mushroom when I put it up like this. What do you think ?

I'm happy to announce that I will be graduating with my Undergrad degree at the end of the summer, and starting my MA in Gender, Feminist and Women's studies at York! When I first came to York I was enrolled in Psychology, but after my first year I became so captivated by women's studies I decided to change my degree. Thank you to the professors who encouraged me along the way to pursue this degree and apply for the graduate program. And of course a special thank you to my mom and dad who have been so supportive of my decisions. Art has been a huge part of my life since I have moved to Toronto. For the past few years I have been taking some courses to work on my art, and some women's studies classes that encourage creative expression. I've loved my time here and I hope you enjoy this little representation of my university experience.

Thank you to everyone who bought prints during Pride Month. Today I have donated 50$ to @uarrcanada, a non profit organization working to tackle racism in Canadian society. This organization works with community groups, the public sector, and the private sector to provide advocacy, education, and research on racism. After seeing the tireless activism over the past few months, I wanted to use the support I recieved from the LGBTQ+ celebration to support other forms of resistance. I wanted to do something more than just post online, and I had the opportunity to share the money spent on art. Thank you for supporting me, and organizations who are making a difference.
