QUARANTINE CONFESSION DAY 400+ Hello friends, I missed you all. Just to remind everyone that Nellie Philanthropy remains committed to helping folks during this ...pandemic and beyond. I wanted to tell you about 3 initiatives that we are so excited about...First, we are so pleased to announce the inclusion of Rugby Soupe as a Nellie partner. Rugby Soupe has been providing soup to the homeless throughout the pandemic and we will be announcing an exciting fundraiser shortly. Please visit rugbysoupe.com to learn more about this amazing program!..... Second, we have commenced our Gratifood initiative with Becca’s Cookies! Nellie will benefit with every cookie purchase that you send to someone you wish to recognize. We are looking for local food businesses to join us in this program and we are so happy to have Becca as our first partner...... Finally, Nellie, in association with Bialik High School, will be collecting Baby Basics as well as breakfast cereal for Moisson Montreal on May 14th between 8:30 and 9:30 am. This is part of our "Cereal Philanthropy" initiative. We have collected 337 boxes thus far and have a goal of 500. Food Bank needs have increased 80% in the past year, so if you can help us with unexpired, unopened cereal, or any baby items, let's do this! A huge thank you to the Montreal Central Lions Club and Mr.Mehdi Taallah the manager of Provigo Cavendish for the extremely kind and generous donation of 30 loa...ves of bread and meat and cheese to make 300 sandwiches! Provigo Cavendish has partnered with Montreal Central Lions Club to supply us with ingredients for our sandwiches. It makes a huge impact on the work we can do.
