Our Community can't thank enough the following businesses who sponsored their time, equipment and gravel to improve the parking lot at the Lions Park Rodeo Grounds and Minor Baseball Fields. The 3 day project saw over 34 Trailer loads of gravel (over $30,000) donated by: Associated Aggregates Inc.... Drayton Sand & Gravel (2003) Ltd. Valley Concrete (2003) Inc. Brazeau County The Town of Drayton Valley provided a grader and operator for two days to assist in the project. Brazeau County Provided Trucking and Gravel. DV Rentals for the use of a packer for a day. And special thanks to Garry from Nelson Bros. Oilfield Services (1997) Ltd. for project managing, providing gravel trucks, loaders and operators throughout the project and for having the vision to pull this off in such a short window with these results. When we started the day yesterday, we didn't think we would be improving the Lions Park Rodeo and Minor Baseball Field Parking Lot. It all just came together that Garry could get approval and support from the Town of Drayton Valley, the Lions Club, DV Minor Baseball and gravel from 6 different gravel pits in and around our community. We will take some time with our families over Easter Weekend and finish this project next week. Great work everyone involved and can't wait to see the finished product.

We are currently looking for swampers. Valid safety tickets are a must (min. H2S, First Aid, Confined Space). Previous experience is an asset but we will train the right applicant.
