A HUGE shout out to Nelson Aggregates & Waynco Aggregates for donating an upright freezer for outreach work here. We have been in need of a bigger freezer for ...quite some time, but it became critical when one of our own freezers broke down. Thank you, also, to the people who are donating their freezer to help us out. What does this mean? It means that we will be able to continue offering free suppers at Thursday Night Supper & Social (starting up again in the fall) with the donation of the gently used freezer. And that the Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank will be able to have the much needed freezer storage so that lunches can continue to be served for food bank clients, and any extra donations of meat, breads and milk can be kept here for the Hespeler Community. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! :)
