The Nelson Youth Action Network is hosting "Art Nights in the Park" that will be held every second Thursday. They will be held at Lakeside Park or Gyro Park. The Nelson Farmers Market will be kicking off the market season with a Garden Starter Market at Cottonwood Falls Park. We are calling all local growers who want to be part of this unique market to start preparations. Space is limited, so be sure to book early. The deadline to apply is April 1, 2021. Registration for Spring Break Camps at the NDYC is now open!! Camps will run March 15th-March 26th, Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM and will be full of safe and fun activities. The Nelson and District Youth Center will be temporarily closing all drop-in programs to ensure the safety of our community and staff. we will be open for Weekday Warriors and Out-of-school Camps. In the meantime, we will be working very hard on new programming for when we re-open for drop-ins. ... We would like to thank our community for your continued support this year. If you have a child/youth aged 12+ who is interested in learning to roller skate, now is their chance! This fun program will be presented by the West Kootenay CIB chapter of skaters and will be on every Wednesday in February from 6:00PM-7:30PM. Email: [email protected] to register

There are currently spaces available in the NDYC Weekday Warriors after school program. Weekday Warriors is for children ages 5-12. This program requires prior registration. For more information visit: nelson.ca/youth
