Today a majority-women governing caucus was sworn in in BC for the 1st time in Canadian history including our own Brittny Anderson ! The 57 new BC NDP members of the Legislature were sworn in virtually today, all focused on supporting people through the COVID-19 pandemic and delivering on their commitments to British Columbians.

Tomorrow is election day. I’ve already voted, and I obviously voted NDP because I am very proud to have worked with amazing people like John Horgan as we implemented world leading climate action CleanBC, poverty reduction, universal childcare, took care of people in this pandemic, and so much more. But I wanted to tell you why I voted for Brittny Anderson. Brittny has proven herself an effective representative while on Nelson City Council. She is intelligent, kind and has a p...olitical intuition that benefits those she represents. And it is very clear that she is dedicated to the Kootenays. Having spent 12 years in Victoria, I know the ins and outs of being an MLA and I know that she has what it takes to serve us well. It’s why I asked her to consider running for the NDP.
