All games and sessions for the remainder of the 2020 Fall Indoor Season have been suspended due to the restrictions recently announced by the BC Health Authority. There is a ban on all adult team sports and NSA is not able to offer youth programs in the Indoor Facility under the new restrictions due to space limitations. Thank you to all players, parents and staff for participating and especially for following and respecting the protocols. NSA plans to reopen registration in the New Year as soon as it is permitted & safe. Youth Program registrants will be offered discounts towards the Winter Indoor Season. Missed games for Adult Leagues will be rescheduled. NSA looks forward to being able to offer soccer again in the near future to Nelson and the surrounding areas. Stay active and safe.

All games and sessions are cancelled for Dec. 3 due to the latest announcement and added restrictions from the BC Health Authority. We will send out further details as updates are released. Sorry for any disappointment.

The Men’s Open, Ladies Rec, and Men’s Masters groups each held a moment of applause at today’s sessions in memory of Kerry Dyck.

Remember to check out the online auction to raise funds for the Kerry Dyck Memorial Bursary. Bidding has been extended to 8:00 pm!

In order to raise funds for the Kerry Dyck Memorial Bursary, NSA will be holding an online auction on Facebook. Each year, the KD Memorial Bursary awards $1000 to a male and $1000 to a female graduating student to pursue post-secondary education based on their dedication to soccer as well as their community contribution. Tomorrow, October 11th at 10am items will be added to the photo album Kerry Dyck Memorial Bursary Auction. To bid please comment your bid below the pictur...e of the item you wish to bid on. Product details will be listed on the image for each item. Bidding will close at 8pm. Everyone at NSA feels the same ! Kevin Lewis: On behalf of the @humehotel Innkeepers, congratulations to Carter Anderson for recieving this years Hume Innkeepers/ Kerry Dyck memorial scholarship. Carter is a great example of hard work, leadership, commitment and humbleness. When our team drafted the criteria for the scholarship we put an emphasis on supporting those that would take the larger lessons learned in team sports and apply them both on and off the pitch.... Today is the last day of our very successful return to play summer sessions. A big thanks to everyone that made it possible. It’s been great to see so many back out on the pitch. Looking forward to September already. On another note for the last 2 years we have paid tribute at the start of the season to former President and all alround soccer enthusiast Kerry Dyck who passed away over 2 years ago. COVID put us back a little. We never forget what Kerry did for our community. Once again I hope the soccer community will have him in their thoughts as we continue his great legacy!

Under strict guidance of BC Soccer and Canada Soccer Association, NSA will provide a one hour skills session per week for five weeks. All youth players U10-U12 (yob 2010-2008), Rep players U13-U18 (yob 2007-2002) & adults 19-64 (yob 2001-1956) are eligible to participate. Programs will run June 29th and to Jul...y 30th following the BC Soccer Return to Play Plan for Phase 1 with technical direction from Brett Adams. Protocols including social distancing will need to be followed in order to deliver safe and low risk programs. The price is $65 + BC Soccer Insurance Fee.
