What does a seed say just before it sprouts.....
It is easy to look for experts we would like to bring to town. Remember though, the best might live just down the street! Congratulations Monica!
Stunning achievement by our very own Diana .....
Out of the imagination of Alphonse Seward. Man you hope your kids will emulate! https://m.soundcloud.com//the-una-magoolies-fairy-tale-sto
Afternoon all, These are the interesting times of both blessings and curses. We really came close to participating in Stage Two of relaxing back into something that includes gathering in a covid way, but the impulse to be still has won out. There will not be a Zoom or a Gathvid tomorrow, the first Sunday of June. As a Guild, we need to reflect on our past and get some sense of what to carry into these next months. Perhaps like many other organizations we are going to be unkno...wing and stepping slowly into the rest of 2020. Personally, I would love to chat, meet for coffee, go for a walk, or video link; with anyone who would like to chat about how we are as a Guild and what we are leaning into. Much of my life is "up in the air" while I feel more grounded than ever. Yet, the Guild does not feel to me as if it has its grounding. Please feel free to give me a shout and we shall chat. If by chance a few folks would like to have a conference call, zoom, or meet for coffee tomorrow evening at 7PM, (Sunday June 7) let me know and we will set something up. Looking forward to hearing from you all. Even more so, seeing everyone, Ray
Old Growth Magazine has done a feature on storytelling, among other great things... The fourth Issue of OLD GROWTH Magazine is now available to view on the Kootenay Seniors Website. If you would like a physical copy for yourself or anyone in your network please let me know. I am happy to drop off or mail copies.... Also, I invite you to spread the word that the summer issue submission deadline is June 15th. https://kootenayseniors.ca///05/OLD-GROWTH-Issue-4-May.pdf
