Nepean Family Dental 21.11.2020

Covid-19 Update This weekend faced a lot of new developments and ramping up of new precautions from all organisations. Last evening, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons has made recommendations for all dental offices to provide essential services only. In a joint effort to maximize social distancing, Chief Medical Officer has urged people to keep 1-2 meter distance from each other. We feel strongly that we must adhere to these recommendations for the greater benefit. In orde...r to keep our patients, team and everyone safe, we will be closed tomorrow and for the following 2 weeks until March 30, 2020 unless changes are made by Health Canada or Public Heath Ontario. We will continue seeing our patients on an emergency basis only. In the event of a dental emergency or if you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected]. If you have fever, cough, flu-like symptoms or have traveled in the last 14 days, please do not come to our office. Please refrain from bringing friends or additional family members to an emergency appointment. Please use hand sanitizer or wash your hands upon entering and exiting our office. We wish your family safety and good health in this time. We will keep you updated for any other development. Much Love, Dr.Inderpreet Brar and Team

As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation evolves, the team at Nepean Family Dental continues to closely monitor developments locally & globally. We are following all guidance and protocols from Public Health and Royal College of Dental Surgeons. We want to re-assure all our patients that the safety of our patients and staff is our number one priority. We practice all high standards of infection control protocol on a daily basis even prior to virus. In addition to sterilizing ...our clinical areas, we are asking our patient to thoroughly to wash their hands when they arrive and after they leave. Our safety attire and everything in the operatory is fully sanitized between all patients. This is a part of the standards of Infection Control Protocols and is done no matter what the situation may be. Additionally, we are asking all our patients who are experiencing symptoms of any respiratory disease to please call us to reschedule your appointment as soon as possible. Specifically, this means anyone who has or recently has had fever, coughing, sneezing, or difficulty breathing as well as anyone who has been exposed to someone with COVID-19. This protocol also applies to our staff. We feel safe enough to continue to stay open and care for our patients and their families. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our office at 613-224-6332. Thanks for your support in this matter.
