‘Fjord & Free’ This 57 x 95 large design is set to go to its new home today. This beauty was engineering-intensive as it’s so large, but was a joy to create. Howe Sound is a glacially-carved coastal fjord on the south coast of BC. Squamish is located at the mouth of this treasured environment and in recent years has seen the return of critical species such as herring, salmon, and whales.... Pacific herring are a key species for our oceans. Not only do baleen whales feed on them, but salmon do too. And without chinook salmon, there cannot be orca whales, or ‘blackfish’. Everything.
