For everyone that is interested the pay for a School Crossing Guard is 14$/hr + vacation pay which is 4%. The schedule for a School Crossing Guard is 3 shifts a day. They attend the shift in the morning and it lasts for about 1hr and then take a break until their next shift which will be during the lunch hour for kids and the shift could last from 1-2hrs and after that they will take another break and then attend their last shift in the afternoon which will be during after school hours which lasts about another hour. The breaks in between are not paid. Only the time spent on duty. This job position will last through out the school year and maybe the year after once school starts again and so on.
