You can also pickup on the 23rd. You cannot place orders for same day pickup. We craft these mini waffles by hand and need time to prepare them perfectly for you. We have some great new flavours ready for you. Head over to our stories for some pretty pictures.... AMANDE AU CHOCOLAT: almonds nicely toasted and baked into a mini waffle. And it has chocolate inside! Great combo. ORANGE CHOCOLATE: we use a chocolate dough for this mini waffle. Glazed with orange infused dark Belgian chocolate and topped with a slice of dehydrated orange. DULCE DE LECHE: Smooth and delicious! A chocolate mini waffle filled with dulce de leche custard. Nero Waffles is looking for a weekend dishwasher! We are looking for a weekend dishwasher for our busy brunch shifts. Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 5pm. The weekends at Nero Waffles are still very busy, despite the Covid restrictions. Brunch is always popular it seems! During the weekends we work with a team of 5 in the kitchen and 3 servers. That gives you an idea of the dynamics of the place. It is busy and fast paced. The wage for this position is $16/hr and you will ge...t an equal share of tips, giving you about $3 to $4/hr extra. You also receive a paid 30 minute break and a free meal (you'll have to like waffles though!). Responsibilities and duties: organizing the dish station, scraping and rinsing plates, operating the dishwashing machine, ensuring dishes are clean, restocking the shop with clean dishes and cups, taking out the garbage, cleaning duties and some small prep duties. Requirements: no experience required but having some experience in the food industry would be welcomed, eligible to work in Canada (when on a work permit, valid for 6 months+). We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible. Only those applicants that are selected for an interview will be contacted. Please make sure your Facebook resume is up to date when applying. To ensure the safety of everyone around us, we apply strict Covid guidelines. Interviews will take please in person in off peak hours. We will supply you with a mask to be worn during the interview.

Hand crafted dough. I know Scotty wouldn't like it when we put his face on our social media, but what about those arms! Rolling 1000's of dough balls per week does that with you . All our waffles are made by hand and from scratch. Natural ingredients makes great stuff.

GRATITUDE We're closing both shops next weekend (Sept 26-27) to give all of our staff some time off! Ever since reopening both Nero's in June, our amazing team has been working non stop to sling your favourite waffles. I don't have to tell you that it's been an odd summer. Working within restrictive guidelines isn't always easy and our staff deserves all the praise for how they have made this all a success. ... . Now that summer is coming to an end we want to thank our staff by giving them all a weekend off. When you work in a restaurant weekends off are like unicorns; you want to believe they're real but you've never actually seen them. So now we say cheers to all of our staff .
