The volunteers in the Children’s Area ensure that there is always something fun happening in the Children’s Area - great workshops, stories, music, dance, singi...ng, yoga, crafts, face painting, nature walks, fencing, circus arts and theatre - providing fabulous entertainment for every NessKid, their families, and the young at heart. Without these fun-loving volunteers we wouldn’t be able to enjoy such perennial favorites as the Main Stage Children’s Performance or the spectacular Sunday parade. See more

The Ness Creek Cultural and Recreational Society is led by a Governance Board made up entirely of volunteers! These folks help direct the Society throughout the year and have been trying to keep the Ness magic alive throughout the pandemic.

Lovingly referred to as ERC, Debi Anderson is Ness Creek’s Emergency Response Coordinator. She has a lifetime’s worth of knowledge and experience that she brings to the table to help us make plans and train our crews so that we can be prepared for anything!

The Campground Host Crew at Ness Creek act as ‘block parents’ for each camping field. They maintain a host station where campers can come to for help and inform...ation as well as deploy roaming volunteers that cruise around the campsites making sure that everyone is having a great time while remaining safe and respectful of the environment. Today marks the start of National Volunteer Week, and while we haven't needed them in a while, volunteers make the world go round at Ness Creek. Every day this... week we'll be doing a feature on some incredible individuals who we are so lucky and grateful to have had on our crew! But wait, there's more! Who do YOU think has been a superstar volunteer at Ness Creek? We want to know! And we want to give them a small token of our appreciation!
