Our pals Shred Kelly have put together a fantastic virtual festival tour to bring some live music into our homes. And we're so proud to be co-hosting their live show tomorrow, Saturday, February 13 with our friends at Winnipeg Folk Festival! Tickets here: https://bit.ly/2Mtt30F Have a listen! "Take Me Home" is a look back on the past life of singer/songwriter Tim Newton’s father Bud. The narrator of the song is spoken in the words of Tim’s father singing to his mother reflec...ting on their time together. It is a declaration of love and a realization that his life is coming to an end, asking her to take him home so that he can leave the world in comfort. In the brand new video, the band beautifully captures the progression of a single man building his life, and Tim paid homage to his dad by wearing his fur boots. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sr5gORCVs1g

Saskatchewan has committed to a target of 12% of its Boreal Forests being protected. Currently, 9% of the 65.2 million hectares of Saskatchewan’s Boreal Fores...t are under some form of ecological protection. We have requested that 11 500 hectares of forest near Nesslin Lake be removed from the PA FMA and be protected as an Other Effective Conservation Measures(OECM) The removal would bring Saskatchewan closer to the 12% target.
