Happy Family Day everyone!!! It's been a long cold spell with much of our temperatures in -30's / -40 and the stong winds made it so much colder!!! 75 calves... now with 3 sets of twins has made it busy bringing cows into barn to calve and a day or so later into the attached shed and then into pens. Each calf gets weighed (portable scale in front of barn) been too cold to tag their ear so gets tied around their neck, and then ear muffs over their heads to keep ears from freezing. The plus side is we've had alot of sunshine and it's going to be warmer by end of the week!!! Hope you enjoy the pics See more

Lot 30 - IDM 97G - a Basin PayWeight 107S granddaughter out of a Sequal daughter - she is due to calve late January with a Sitz Logic calf (AI'd April 15th)
