This session was held at the Ken Wigard NETCOM Training Centre in Port Coquitlam, BC from July 6 to 10, 2020. Students from various organizations in electrical and communications such as RMI Communications, DVC Communications, and Pacific West Cable. All of the proper procedures and precautions are in place for a reduced capacity FOA Certified Fiber Optics Technician (CFOT) course next week July 6-10, 2020. Looking forward to our first in class instructional course since the Covid pandemic started.

Congratulations to the 1st group of Fiber Optic Association - Certified Premises Cabling Technicians (CPCT)! This session was held at the Ken Wigard NETCOM Training Centre in Port Coquitlam, BC from October 7 to 11, 2019. Students were all IBEW 213 members who are employed by Shaw Communications. Instructors Ken Mah and Colin Johnson did an excellent job. Great work!

TELUS contractor technicians at Ledcor (LTS Solutions Ltd.) are on strike for a fair agreement. 240 workers organized with IBEW 213 in August 2017. It's been ov...er 2 years and Ledcor refuses to bargain in good faith. Workers are being terminated en masse and sub contractors are being abused in appalling conditions. If you need a technician in your home or business do not accept any worker on behalf of Ledcor. When will the workers future be friendly? Shame on Ledcor. #shameonledcor See more
